The law on which we stand.
Foundations
Four Instruments
The rights of indigenous peoples are not granted by us. They are inscribed in international law, signed by the nations of the world, and protected by treaty. United Indigenous Nations exists to defend, advance, and give institutional form to what has already been won.
Members of the assembly receive a curated archive of the conventions, declarations, and case law that protect indigenous peoples worldwide. This section names the four foundations on which the assembly itself stands.
